Every year come January first we go RAW for 31 days. When we go raw we are giving the body an “inner” vacation. We ease the workload on all systems of the body, especially the digestive system, so the body gets a chance to heal itself. You will notice improvement in your mental faculties, and health in general. With the raw foods that we consume in their natural raw state, the body spends less time trying to digest enzyme less, adulterated foods. Heating destroys protein, vitamins and many minerals and nutrients are washed away in cooking water. Whatever nutrients are left behind are usually not assimilated, so you wind up nutritional dead foods. We eat a lot and are still undernourished. 
Greens should always be crunchy and still naturally green when we eat them…not limp and brownish looking when we eat them. The green in green leafy vegetables contain a lot of protein, chlorophyll and almost every known nutrient. It is very important to eat your greens raw.
To help your body get and remain, strong and healthy, you must eat nutritionally sound foods: sprouts, fresh fruits, vegetables, green vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains, from the land and sea.  They are just like us; they need sun, water, earth and air to nourish, rejuvenate and renew and sustain life.
When you go raw you may experience a healing crisis, such as headache, rashes, odor in urine, stool, and even aches, and pain, and coughing (especially if you are a smoker).   However these will soon disappear as you journey to wellness.  The skin is the largest organ of elimination, therefore we encourage you to use the skin as much as possible to help with waste elimination. You must take baths.  An alkalizing bath will help neutralize excess acids in your system.
An alkalizing bath: 1 pound of baking soda to a tub of warm water. Immerse yourself for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes let out water. Then take a shower. Whatever you use as a skin oil, must be clean enough to eat. We use cold pressed wheat germ oil. Remember you are giving your body an inner vacation, so everything you eat and use internally and externally must be healing to you system.
For liver, gallbladder and pancreas problem, you must start your day with a glass of fresh lemon water. Use ½ a lemon to about 8 ounces of distilled water.  Stringy foods such beets, cabbage and string beans are also very important. So is cold pressed olive oil. During raw food diet try to eat three apples a day, or drink a glass of fresh squeezed apple juice with a small piece of ginger.

1/2 raw fresh coconut

Beet Salad
1-2 beets, shredded 
3 Carrots, shredded 
1/2 a head of red cabbage or 1/4 if it is big, shredded
1 tablespoon or more Lemon Juice
2 teaspoons Ume Plum Vinegar
1 Tablespoon caraway seeds
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Mix all ingredients together.
You can also add chopped scallions, red onion, Apple Cider Vinegar, or green apple. 
Everyone who tastes this likes it usually raw food eaters or not.
HBP Salad
2 small beets, peeled and shredded
¼ head red cabbage, shredded
6 dandelion green leaves, chopped
1 small cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
Toss all ingredients in bowl
Dress with juice of fresh lemon and cold pressed oil
1 ounce of raw dandelion Root
1 quart of distilled water
Add dandelion root to water in a glass jar. Place in sunny area for 24 hours. Then strain and drink 2 cups daily. You may add fresh lemon juice to sun brewed infusion.
Tea is excellent for kidneys and liver. Is a wonderful diuretic with no harmful side effects.
